Urgent Meetings For All Coventry Unison Members

Council staff have suffered a massive 18% cut in wages since 2010 following a three year pay freeze and a pay rise of just 1% last year – well below inflation. Thousands of low paid local government workers are struggling to make ends meet.

UNISON is not asking for the 14% pay increase given to some top company bosses and bankers. Instead we are campaigning for a pay rise of at least £1 an hour.

Your branch is holding meetings on 9th April at 12.30 & 5pm, to listen to views, share opinions and answer questions. We will feedback to the national union, to help shape the action the Union as a whole takes on this vital issue.
